Aar Hotel & Spa Ioannina

Even though the hotel is situated directly next to a major road, at night it is quiet and depending on the sleeping type even quiet enough to sleep with open balcony door. While there was ample parking, due to the location there was only the hotels own restaurant and a baklava store on the other side of the street close by. They provide a nice pool with sunbeds.

Nice and clean room, friendly staff, nice view of the mountain scenery from the room and balcony, big parking space.

We liked the hotel; it was very clean; you could really notice the freshness. The room was spacious, the staff was very friendly, and while the swimming pool was small, it was still great. There’s also a large parking area. It was more than just a transit hotel for us.

Everything: lots of free, safe parking, a good elevator, spacious room, large balcony with good table & chairs, comfortable bed, a good bathroom, spacious closet, lots of table space for working on computers, generous breakfast, light dinner menu if you feasted in town for lunch, and a good pool, and the staff. We really appreciated the location for its countryside views and no traffic congestion, especially after the crowds of Athens and Corfu. Also, to our delight, the rainbow ended in the ancient building in the field outside our balcony.
